Happiness is today

This morning, like so many, I awoke with a feeling that I had "Ground Hog's Day" ahead of me.

Again,as always, I was so wrong. I had a sunlit day, full of people I enjoy. I was at work. How fantabulous. God works in mysterious ways.

I had great interaction with a couple of my favorite peeps, and at the end of the day met with one of the leaders of a team where I am employed.

I thought I would leave on time to beat traffic, but no. I spent nearly an hour talking and sharing about being 9 YO. Her son is a total trip. She acted him out sharing MANY colorful stories about his antics and I nearly split a gut listening to the tales of Dean-O and her acting him out. I shared my tales of watching my younger brothers and the similarities. We laughed so hard we had tears.

Sounds kinda stupid, but driving home I could only think that we are so blessed to have family... no matter what that means or what form it comes in.

So many people don't have stories they want to share.
